What
is aYs?
The Association for Yoga Studies (aYs)
is an organisation committed to the teachings of T Krishnamacharya
as received through his son and pupil TKV Desikachar. Paul
Harvey, a student of Desikachar since 1976, originally founded
it (as Viniyoga Britain) in 1981. Within the UK and Ireland,
aYs is the national professional body supporting those students
who have undertaken at least 4 years of teaching and therapy
training to qualify and become licensed as aYs Practitioners.www.yogastudies.org
