A Positive Approach to Stress Management

This6-week course will include sessions on:

Modern theories about stress, its causes, its effects
Personality types and thinking patterns - how they influence the way we   handle life’s events
Building up coping skills – self-esteem, assertiveness, positive attitudes,
Taking care of the body – exercise, nutrition, rest, complementary   therapies, and fun!
• Nurturing inner resources – yoga, meditation, deep relaxation, visualisation
Managing time, managing energy

Specific topics such as sleep, worry, panic attacks, finding support
